Alchemy Systems, LP is a training and educational technology company located in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to create efficient and cost-effective technology solutions for our clients that train and educate workers. The Alchemy team adheres to a set of guiding principles that keeps us conscious of the fact that all people we interact with are important and contribute to our goal of maximizing our value to our clients.
Alchemy is the first company to use a high technology approach to train the unwired workforce, or those workers in a company without a login to the corporate intranet. This employee population is often difficult to train for a variety of reasons, all of which are addressed with Alchemy’s unique training solution. Alchemy’s comprehensive approach to training this workforce addresses language, skill and technology gaps and is the most cost-effective product on the market today.
While our solutions are used in many industries, Alchemy’s initial impact was in the food processing space. In an industry where profit margins are very tight and educational technology has not been widely adopted, Alchemy has been able to create significant market acceptance with a majority of the top 25 food-processing companies in the U.S. as customers using our SISTEM product.
In addition to our success in helping companies manage and track the learning of an unwired workforce, Alchemy has been able to create a similar market position in the school district and educational service center market with our Avatar Professional Development Management System. Alchemy’s focus on efficient, cost-effective technology solutions for training and educating workers and teachers in our target markets continues to drive our success.
Our history
Alchemy Systems is a limited partnership formed in 2003 and maintains its corporate offices in Austin, Texas with sales and development resources throughout the nation. Founded by the owners of Alchemy Studios, a nationally recognized leader in the development of educational products since 1996, Alchemy Systems was formed to meet the industry’s demands for training and compliance management solutions. In 2005 Alchemy acquired Avatar Technologies, an award-winning software development company that specialized in web applications for learning management in both the commercial and academic space. The combination of talents from Alchemy Studios and Avatar Technologies created the basis of our success for Alchemy Systems.
Alchemy Systems was named the American Meat Institute's (AMI) 2009 Supplier of the Year.
The award was presented during AMI's International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Convention & Exposition, part of the Worldwide Food Expo, October 28-31, at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The Supplier of the Year Award is given to a supplier member of AMI that truly partners with meat and poultry processors to help achieve industry goals.
