It can sound a bit cliché, but having started from such a small group, we have grown into one big family. As Alchemy has continued to grow, we understand the importance of giving back to the community that helped us get here. The role we play in the Austin business community is a reflection of our people, one that we’re proud of and wish to extend beyond just our local area.

WeAreTeachers Microgrants

To date, Alchemy has funded 20 grants for the WeAreTeachers Microgrant program. The WAT Microgrant program puts resources in the hands of teachers who use their creativity, imagination, and initiative to enrich and supplement the quality of their students' education. These include teacher-created projects supporting teaching green, creativity and arts, digital learning, special education, student engagement, literacy and more.

Wooten Elementary School Volunteering & Mentoring

For Wooten Elementary School, Alchemy provides school supplies, clothing for the “spare clothes” closet, treats and snacks for teacher appreciation, mentors, tutors, and classroom coaching. Most recently, Alchemy helped to dismantle the computer lab to move 26 computers to classrooms making way for brand new Macs.
