American Baking Association
The American Baking Association (ABA) is the Washington, D.C. – based trade association that has been the voice of the wholesale baking industry since 1897. ABA has a long and dedicated history of representing the interests of the wholesale baking industry before the U.S. Congress, federal agencies, state legislatures and agencies, and international regulatory authorities. The association represents approximately 80% of the wholesale bakeries in the U.S. as well as their suppliers. Through the association, member baking and allied companies are closely integrated and work together to achieve goals and solve industry challenges to strengthen the baking industry. In addition, ABA works closely with all of its industry partners to maximize the scope and influence of the industry.

American Frozen Food Institute
The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) is the national trade association that promotes the interests of all segments of the frozen food industry. AFFI unifies a diverse and essential industry by advocating the public policy interests of the industry before legislative and regulatory entities; serving as the voice of the industry before consumers, policymakers and the media and as a resource to its members; fostering industry development and growth through networking, educational, research and statistical programs; promoting increased consumption of frozen foods; and operating as a member-driven organization in an efficient, effective and ethical manner.

American Meat Institute
AMI is a national trade association that represents companies that process 95 percent of red meat and 70 percent of turkey in the U.S. and their suppliers throughout America. Headquartered in metropolitan Washington, DC, AMI keeps its fingers on the pulse of legislation, regulation and media activity that impacts the meat and poultry industry and provides rapid updates and analyses to its members to help them stay informed. In addition, AMI conducts scientific research through its Foundation designed to help meat and poultry companies improve their plants and their products. The Institute's many meetings and educational seminars also provide excellent networking and information-sharing opportunities for members of the industry. Biscuit & Cracker Manufacturers' Association
The Biscuit & Cracker Manufacturers’ Association (B&CMA) is an international trade organization representing the entire spectrum of companies involved in the manufacturing of biscuits and crackers and the suppliers to the baking industry. Campden BRI
Campden BRI is the UK’s largest independent membership-based organization carrying out research and development for the food and drinks industry worldwide. It is committed to providing industry with the research, technical and advisory services needed to ensure product safety and quality, process efficiency and product and process innovation. Food Processing Suppliers Association
Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) is a trade association that was created in 2005 through the merger of the Food Processing Machinery Association and the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers. The goal was to provide each member company the ability to successfully compete and win in their chosen market places of food, dairy, meat, beverage and related sanitary processing industries. International Association
for Food Protection
The International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) represents a broad range of members with a singular focus — protecting the global food supply. Within the association, one will find educators, government officials, microbiologists, food industry executives and quality control professionals who are involved in all aspects of growing, storing, transporting, processing and preparing all types of foods. Working together, IAFP members (representing more than 50 countries) help the association achieve its mission through networking, educational programs, journals, career opportunities and numerous other resources. All of this is best summed up in the IAFP’s mission statement –to provide food safety professionals worldwide with a forum to exchange information on protecting the food supply. International Dairy Foods Association
The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), Washington, D.C., represents the nation's dairy manufacturing and marketing industries and their suppliers, with a membership of 550 companies representing a $110-billion a year industry. IDFA's 220 dairy processing members run more than 600 plant operations, and range from large multi-national organizations to single-plant companies. Institute of Food Technologists
The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) exists to advance the science of food. The long-range vision of the organization is to ensure a safe and abundant food supply contributing to healthier people everywhere. The organization focuses its work on being a steward for the profession and its community, acting as a research champion and innovation catalyst, being influential advocate and trusted spokes organization and global citizen and partner.

National Meat Association
National Meat Association is a non-profit trade association. Since 1946, NMA has represented meat packers and processors, equipment manufacturers and food suppliers who provide services to the meat industry. The association has members throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, Australia and Mexico. The organization was born when Western States Meat Packers Association (WSMPA) and Pacific Coast Meat Association joined together in 1982 as Western States Meat Association (WSMA). WSMA gradually grew in prominence and membership until NMA was formed in 1995. The association has since gained recognition by furthering its influence in legislation and welcoming many new members from the East and elsewhere, while maintaining a grassroots approach. Northwest Food Processors Association
The Northwest Food Processors Association (NWFPA) represents the interests of food processors in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The association is headquartered in Portland, Oregon and has more than 450 member companies including nearly 80 food processors with nearly 200 production facilities through the Northwest region. Membership is primarily fruit and vegetable processors but has expanded over the past several years to include seafood, dairy bakeries, specialty and fresh-cut. Visit the NWFPA website »
Private Label Manufacturers Association
The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), with membership that now exceeds 3,000 companies worldwide, is the only international trade organization devoted entirely to promoting store brands. Every year PLMA holds the world's largest trade shows for private label, each November in Chicago and May in Europe. PLMA sponsors conferences and seminars, education programs, newsletters and research studies to keep members informed on industry developments, trends and statistics. Visit the PLMA website »
Snack Food Association
The Snack Food Association (SFA) is the international trade association of the snack food industry representing snack manufacturers and suppliers. Founded in 1937, SFA represents over 400 companies worldwide. The association serves as the voice for the snack food industry before government; researches and compiles annual snack industry sales and consumer data; promotes increased snack consumption by sponsoring National Snack Food Month in February, along with other promotions; provides a positive industry voice to the national, local and trade media; educates manufacturers on technological advances in equipment and raw ingredients, and on consumer trends pertaining to the snack industry; sponsors the largest convention and trade show in the world devoted exclusively to snacks; and provides technical support to its members through direct assistance, videos, seminars and publications. Society of Food Hygiene and Technology
The Society of Food Hygiene & Technology (SOFHT) was established in 1979 by a group of professional people who recognized the need for an organization to cover the interests and views of everyone involved in food hygiene in its widest application throughout the food chain. The philosophy of the society is to help all disciplines involved in the food industry by providing a forum for discussion and an opportunity for people with similar ideas, concerns and viewpoints to meet, either in person or through Society communications. Southeast Food Processors Association
The Southeastern Food Processors Association (SFPA) offers a forum for food manufacturers and suppliers to interact professionally and socially to seek solutions to management and technical challenges in the ever-changing food industry. The association maintains closeness with the ever-changing “state-of-the-art” technology in the food industry; shares in the exchange of techniques of management that responds to the dynamics of the business; fosters inter-industrial relationships; fosters and preserves with the industry a feeling of responsibility for rendering maximum service to the consuming public; generates a spirit of enthusiasm, cooperation and personal relationships among the members. Southwest Meat Association
SMA is an organization created to make a difference for its members by initiating opportunities, resolving problems and thus helping allow our member companies to earn a reasonable return on investment. It is understood that the primary focus of our member companies is to produce products that meet or exceed consumer expectations in regards to product safety, nutrition and value. Since 1957, SMA has been a leader in representing meat packers and processors in Texas and the surrounding states. In recent years, its membership has grown to include firms from across the nation that recognize the value SMA delivers. SMA’s staff remains at its members’ disposal to assist with a wide variety of technical and regulatory challenges, as well as to provide industry-wide leadership on issues that impact meat companies.

The Poultry Federation
The Poultry Federation (TPF) is a nonprofit trade organization that relies on membership support to continue its representation of the poultry industry. The company is a voice for the industry in Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Companies that supply services and/or products to poultry and egg companies are invited to join TPF in strengthening the poultry industry by becoming a TPF allied member. United Fresh
United Fresh Produce Association is the industry's leading trade association committed to driving the growth and success of produce companies and their partners. United Fresh represents the interests of member companies throughout the global, fresh produce supply chain, including family-owned, private and publicly traded businesses as well as regional, national and international companies. The association was founded in 1904 to represent the produce industry, and recently took the name United Fresh as a result of the 2006 merger of the United Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association and the International Fresh-Cut Produce Association. United Fresh will continue the shared mission of IFPA and UFFVA to promote the growth and success of produce companies and their partners. As fresh-cut and other forms of value-added processing continue to fuel industry growth in meeting consumer demand for high quality, convenient produce, the association will continue to provide the highest level of expertise and management support for members in these critical areas.

US Poultry & Egg Association
The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is the world's largest and most active poultry organization. They represent the entire industry as an "All Feather" association. Membership includes producers and processors of broilers, turkeys, ducks, eggs, and breeding stock, as well as allied companies. Formed in 1947, the association has affiliations in 27 states, member companies worldwide, and sponsors the International Poultry Expo. Above all, the company holds to its vision statement to, “represent its poultry and egg members through research, education, communications, and technical services.”

Quality Assurance Association
The Quality Assurance Association (QAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information and training related to the quality of Private Label products. The organization was founded in 1988 on the vision of Herb Pease Sr. and the help of eight other individuals. He believed that he could spark interest in a new professional association devoted to quality excellence in the private label industry by bringing a group of people together for a Quality Assurance Seminar. As a result of these efforts, the Quality Assurance Association was presented during the 1989 Private Label Manufacturers’ Show , in Rosemont, Illinois. Visit the QAA website »
Washington Association for Food Protection
The Washington Association for Food Protection is a non-profit association dedicated to provide our members with a forum to educate, and discuss the latest technologies and advancements toward the assurance of a safe, affordable food supply. Prior to September 2000 we were known as the Washington Milk, Food and Environmental Association. In 1951, we became an affiliate of what is now known as the International Association for Food Protection.
