Blended eLearning Course

 

Section 1: Self-paced eLearning

The Preventive Controls for Human Food Blended eLearning Course enables you to become a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) on your terms. This two-part online course provides everything required to pass your next audit, but it also features industry best practices developed right on the manufacturing floor by Alchemy Professional Services consultants capitalizing on 200 years of combined food industry experience. Part 1 consists of the 16-chapter FSPCA curriculum delivered online at your convenience.

Section 2: Virtual Instructor-Led Session

Part 2, the virtual instructor-led portion of the course, is an interactive reinforcement of the eLearning portion directed by a lead instructor from the Alchemy Professional Services team. During this session you will take a closer look at a Food Safety Plan to ensure you’re prepared to write or update your own plan to satisfy the new Preventive Controls for Human Food requirements.


In-Person Classroom Course

 

The Preventive Controls for Human Food classroom course covers the identical 16-chapter FSPCA curriculum broken out over two and a half days. Classroom attendees enjoy the benefits of peer interaction in a live classroom environment. See the complete course agenda here.

Just as with the eLearning course, classroom attendees will receive all relevant information regarding food safety audit preparation and food safety plan compliance, as well as invaluable best practices from our experienced Alchemy Professional Services consultants. The classroom course is taught by a Preventive Controls for Human Food Lead Instructor from the Alchemy Professional Services team.

Jeff Chilton

Mr. Chilton is a Preventive Controls for Human Food lead instructor with over 30 years of experience in the food industry, specializing in food safety, quality assurance, and plant management. He was President of Chilton Consulting Group for 18 years assisting clients achieve GFSI certification under the SQF, BRC, or FSSC 22000 standards.

Jorge Acosta

Mr. Acosta is a Preventive Controls for Human Food lead instructor and auditor in numerous GFSI schemes including SQF, BRC and FSSC 22000. He is also an Approved Training Provider for BRC courses related to Food, Packaging and Storage & Distribution.

Brent Heldt

Mr. Heldt is a Preventive Controls for Human Food lead instructor with more than 20 years of food industry experience in production, quality assurance and management. He provides expertise on numerous GFSI schemes including SQF, BRC and FSSC 22000. He is also a Regional SQF practitioner, HACCP certified and Lean manufacturing trained.
