Alchemy - Empowering the Global Workforce

With nearly half a million people working in the meat and poultry industry, worker safety, health and human resource issues are vitally important to the success of the businesses. The meat and poultry industry has exhibited significant leadership in this area through voluntary ergonomics programs, participation in government on-line screening programs and other efforts.  However, unique meat and poultry industry workplaces continue to pose worker safety challenges. Health care and insurance costs are climbing.
