In a typical year, we are in full swing for the Intertek Alchemy Engage Conference. However, due to the recent impacts of COVID-19, we have postponed the Intertek Alchemy Engage Conference to Sept. 26-28, 2022.
For the last 12 years, the Engage Conference has provided a valuable forum for Alchemy clients to collaborate on employee engagement trends and best practices. However, the safety of our attendees, your families, and your colleagues comes first.

Joel Zeff creates energy. His spontaneous humor and vital messages have thrilled audiences for years. As a national speaker and humorist, Joel captivates audiences with a unique blend of hilarious improvisational comedy and essential ideas on work and life. Corporations and organizations nationwide seek him out to motivate and energize their employees on such topics as creativity, communication, teamwork, passion and fun. His first book, “Make the Right Choice: Creating a Positive, Innovative and Productive Work Life” was just published by John Wiley & Sons. A former newspaper journalist and public relations executive, Joel started his own consulting business in 1994. His business initially focused on helping technology and telecommunications companies with marketing, advertising and public relations. As he came in contact with so many corporate cultures, he noticed the glaring need for employees to have more fun and reenergize their creative spirit.
Since 1993, he has performed with Ad-Libs, one of the country’s premier improvisational comedy troupes. Joel performs with Ad-Libs at the troupe’s theater in Downtown Dallas and across the country for corporate events. As an improvisational actor, Joel studied for a short time at the famed Second City Conservatory in Chicago, Illinois.
Joel fuses his knowledge of improvisation and his experience with the corporate world to create presentations that make a difference. His humor and style create a positive and comfortable environment for his audience that allows them to take risks and explore their creativity. Lone is a Principal with Cultivate LLC, an organization dedicated to help food manufacturers globally make safe, great tasting food through cultural effectiveness. Lone has significant experience with food manufacturing, having previously spent eleven years with Maple Leaf Foods. Following the tragic event in 2008 when Maple Leaf products caused the loss of lives of 23 Canadians, Lone lead the execution of the Maple Leaf Foods, food safety strategy and its operations learning strategy. Prior to that, Lone worked for Woodbridge Foam as Engineering and Operations manager responsible for the safety and quality of automobile safety products. Lone holds a Master in Mechanical Engineering from Syd Dansk University, Denmark, a Master of Food Science from the University of Guelph, Canada and is presently pursuing her Ph.D. on Culture Enabled Food Safety with Dr. Mansel Griffiths at the University of Guelph. Lone currently servers as chair of the GFSI technical working group on Food Safety Culture, a group dedicated to characterizing and quantifying food safety culture across the global food industry from farm to fork.

Dr. Barb Masters is the Vice President of Regulatory Policy, Food and Agriculture at Tyson Foods, Inc., where she provides regulatory vision and support for food safety and quality policies and procedures. She serves on the Board of Directors for GFSI.
Prior to joining Tyson Foods, Dr. Masters served as the Global Vice President for Food Safety and Quality at Keystone Foods. She served as the key technical resource for the plant teams across the globe. Dr. Masters spent nine years as a Senior Policy Advisor at Olsson Frank Weeda, where she worked closely to advise with the meat and poultry industry to ensure regulatory compliance.
Dr. Masters served as Administrator of the Food Safety and Inspection Service where she established a solid infrastructure of science-based policies and data analysis to reduce foodborne illness and product recalls. She was responsible for re-energizing the Agency’s training program and ensuring training reflected national policies.
Dr. Masters holds her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University and a Food Animal Internship from Kansas State University.

He specializes in prediction, recognition, and evaluation of crime risk and consults with business owners, managers, insurance carriers, and police worldwide developing congruent plans to reduce crime risk through policy design and training. Prior to joining Intertek, Gregoire spent 8 years at Silliker / Mérieux NutriSciences as the EMEA Global Key Accounts Director and part of the International Business Development and Marketing teams. Prior to Alchemy, Laura managed Silliker’s South Region food testing laboratories, implemented ISO 17025 requirements, conducted GMP and HACCP audits, and trained food safety auditors. Her hands-on experience in testing food products has assisted food companies in the successful implementation of good manufacturing practices (GMP), quality assurance, and HACCP programs. Laura is a graduate of University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.

Optional/additional fees are required, per person, for:

Registration fees are refundable until August 31, 2019. No refunds will be issued for cancellations starting September 1, 2019.
Registrations are transferable until September 10, 2019. Starting September 10, 2019, transfers will not be accepted.
All cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail to Engage@AlchemySystems.com. You will receive a response within 2 business days.
