With over 15 years of dedicated safety experience, I am passionate about what I do and enjoy helping others improve their safety programs. I am the type of person that likes to “play by the rules”. Striving to work with people who truly want to improve their safety standards; through collaboration we can achieve our goals and empower our leaders.
Safety is not just for show; I like to see results and continuing progress. I believe that zero accident, zero incidents, and zero injuries is achievable. My background includes the hospitality industry where I managed two different hotels in the Holiday Inn chain. I also have experienced improving the safety of a feed mill and farm retail location. While working at Southeast Milk, I was the safety director of 22 locations that included nearly 500 CDL drivers and two processing plants. I gained even more manufacturing experience while working for a meat processing plant with two locations. In my current position, I oversee the safety programs of over 40 locations across the United States, Bahamas, and Ireland. I have experienced the benefits of bringing safety home and have witnessed the results in my two children. Making them more safety conscience and making me feel better about their safety as they enter the workforce. I have even tried my techniques on my husband. Being a wife and mother makes me even more passionate about what I do.
