Ken Teets
National Training Specialist, Home Chef

Ken Teets has worked in the food industry for over 20 years in production, food safety, and training. He is a pastry chef, and has taught at culinary schools across the Chicagoland area including Le Cordon Bleu Chicago. Ken worked as the lead training specialist for Starbucks on their most recent endeavor into scratch cooking and opened kitchens and production facilities in Chicago, Seattle, New York, and Milan. Ken is currently working as the National Training Specialist for Home Chef, a meal kitting company located in Chicago, where he created and developed a comprehensive training program for all of their plant facilities that currently trains over 1600 people on things like GMP’s, proper food handling, PPE, and food safety. Ken uses his knowledge of food safety to create a positive environment for training and facilitation of training materials.
